ImageTrend Announces New Medical Director

LAKEVILLE, MINN. [January 8, 2016] – ImageTrend is pleased to formally announce the appointment of Dr. Michael Wilcox as Medical Director for the company’s health-related products and services. Wilcox has had a continuing influence within the company over several years, including leading discussions on the topic of primary care access at the annual ImageTrend Connect Conference. He has had a key role in the development the emerging field of community paramedicine and mobile integrated healthcare in the state of Minnesota in his role as the Medical Director at the Community Paramedic Program at Hennepin Technical College.

Dr. Wilcox is a Board Certified Family Practice Physician, who has practiced in rural Minnesota for nearly 40 years. His post graduate training was at HCMC in Minneapolis, Minn. and he completed his Bush Medical Fellowship in Critical & Emergency Care in 1985. Dr. Wilcox serves multiple roles as the Coordinator at the Emergency Care Plus Program for North Memorial Medical Center, Clinical Associate Professor in the Department Emergency & Family Medicine University of Minnesota, Medical Director for the Community Paramedic Program at Hennepin Technical College and South Central Technical College, Medical Advisor for MNSCU EMS Programs, and the Medical Director for 82 Rural EMS Services (First Responder, BLS, ALS).
